Gazetted Holidays 2025: The government has released the complete list of holidays for the year 2025. There are 17 gated and 34 optional holidays in the new year.
Gazetted Holidays 2025 List: There are only two days left for the new year to begin. Preparations have started for the year 2025. The Government of India has also released the complete list of holidays. This year most of the holidays are on working days. Festivals like Makar Sankranti, Eid and Diwali are also not falling on Sundays. Let’s take a look at this list so that it becomes easier for you to plan your vacation. The list released by the government includes two types of holidays – gazetted and restricted holidays or optional holidays. Gazetted holidays are those which are issued by the government, which have to be followed by all government institutions, schools-colleges, offices. There are a total of 17 gazetted holidays in the year 2025.
