New Delhi, Business Desk. On Friday, gold and silver futures prices have seen a significant decline. On August 5, 2020, gold futures on the MCX exchange fell by 0.69 per cent or Rs 321 to trade at Rs 46,375 per 10 grams on Friday morning. At the same time, gold futures on October 5, 2020 fell 0.69 per cent or Rs 322 to trade at Rs 46,492 per 10 grams on Friday. Significantly, on Thursday, the spot price of gold in Delhi was Rs 47,185 per 10 grams. Global spot and futures prices of gold are also seen falling on Friday morning.
Talking about silver, the futures price of silver on MCX on July 3, 2020 was down by 0.88 per cent or Rs 428 to trade at Rs 48,383 per kg. Significantly, the spot price of silver fell by Rs 542 per kg to Rs 49,558 per kg in Delhi on Thursday.

Internationally also, gold futures and spot prices are seen falling on Friday morning. According to Bloomberg, on Friday morning, the global futures price of gold was down 0.62 per cent or $ 10.70 on the Comex at $ 1716.70 an ounce. At the same time, the global spot price of gold was down by 0.22 percent or $ 3.85 to trade at $ 1,710.16 an ounce.
Globally, silver futures were trading down 0.53 per cent, or $ 0.10, at $ 17.97 an ounce on Friday morning. At the same time, the global spot price of silver was trending at 0.05 percent, or $ 0.01, on Friday morning at $ 17.72 an ounce.
