New Delhi, Business Desk. In the futures market, gold and silver prices have seen an increase on Monday on the first trading day of the week. On August 5, 2020 gold futures on the MCX exchange were trending at Rs 45,931 per 10 grams, up 0.51 percent or Rs 233 on Monday morning. Apart from this, the gold futures price of 5 October 2020 was 0.51 per cent, or Rs 234, on Monday morning trending at Rs 46,097 per 10 grams. Global gold prices have also seen an increase on Monday morning. According to the IBJA website, the price of gold (999) had closed at Rs 46,696 per 10 grams on Friday.
Talking about the silver prices in the domestic futures market, on MCX on Monday morning, on July 3, 2020, silver futures were trending at Rs 47,910 per kg, increasing by 1.18 per cent or Rs 559. According to the IBJA website, the price of silver (999) closed at Rs 47,800 per kg in the domestic spot market on Friday last week.

The international market is also seeing an increase in both gold futures and spot prices on Monday morning. According to Bloomberg, on Monday morning, the global futures price of gold was trading 0.63 per cent, or $ 10.60, at $ 1693.60 an ounce on Comex. At the same time, the global spot price of gold was trending up by 0.25 percent or $ 4.16 to $ 1,689.22 an ounce.
In the international market, silver futures were trading up 1.55 per cent, or $ 0.27, at $ 17.75 an ounce on Monday morning. At the same time, the global spot price of silver was trading up 0.92 percent or $ 0.16 on Monday morning at $ 17.58 an ounce.
