New Delhi: There was once again a big drop in the price of gold on Saturday. On Saturday, a fall of Rs 350 per ten grams was seen in the price of 22 carat gold, while a fall of Rs 380 per ten grams was recorded in the price of 24 carat gold.
After this big fall on Saturday, according to the Goodreturns website, now 22 carat gold is being sold at Rs 47,300 per ten grams in the bullion market, while 24 carat gold is being sold at Rs 51,600 per ten grams.
Falling gold prices
Gold prices on Friday fell by Rs 254 to Rs 52,031 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market amid a weak global trend. HDFC Securities gave this information. Due to this, gold had closed at Rs 52,285 per 10 grams in the previous trading session. However, silver rose by Rs 21 to Rs 55,979 per kg. It was Rs 55,958 per kg in the previous trading session.
HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “Spot gold of 24 carat in Delhi declined by Rs 254 per 10 grams in line with the fall in gold prices in COMEX (commodity market).” International market Gold was trading lower at $1,751 an ounce, while silver remained steady at $19.22 an ounce in the US.
Gold rate on MCX
Gold fell by Rs 185 to Rs 51,517 per 10 grams in the futures market on Friday as traders reduced their deals amid weak spot demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, gold for the month of October supply declined by Rs 185, or 0.36 per cent, to Rs 51,517 per 10 grams. It traded for 13,704 lots. Market analysts said offloading of positions by participants led to the fall in gold futures. Globally, gold fell 0.45 per cent to Rs 1,763.50 an ounce in New York.
Gold became so much cheaper than the record rate
