Gold Price Today: Today 24 carat gold became cheaper by an average of Rs 556 per 10 grams and opened at a rate of Rs 76948. On the other hand, silver today fell by Rs 553 per kg and opened at an average rate of Rs 87568 per kg.
Gold Price Today: The rise in gold and silver has been halted today. Amid the fall in the stock market, the bullion market is witnessing a decline today i.e. Monday 6 January. Today 24 carat gold became cheaper by an average of Rs 556 per 10 grams and opened at a rate of Rs 76948. On the other hand, silver today fell by Rs 553 per kg and opened at an average rate of Rs 87568 per kg. This rate has been released by the India Bullion and Jewelers Association (IBJA), in which GST has not been imposed. It is possible that in your city there may be a difference of Rs 1000 to Rs 2000.
Let us tell you that IBJA is a 104 year old association. It releases the gold rate twice a day at noon and evening. These rates are the benchmark rates for sovereign and bond issuances as per various notifications issued by the Ministry of Finance and the Reserve Bank of India. IBJA has offices in 29 states and is a part of all government entities.

The average price of 23 carat gold has become cheaper by Rs 554 today and has come down to Rs 76640 per 10 grams. 22 carat gold has fallen by Rs 510 and is at Rs 70484. The price of 18 carat gold has come down by Rs 417 to Rs 57711. The price of 14 carat gold has also fallen by Rs 325 to Rs 45015.

Yesterday it was Rs 79376 per 10 grams. In Lucknow gold is being sold today at the rate of Rs 78889 per 10 grams. Yesterday the price of gold was Rs 79399 per 10 grams.
Today the price of gold in Chandigarh is Rs 78882 per 10 grams and yesterday the price of gold was Rs 79392 per 10 grams. Today the price of gold in Amritsar is Rs 78900 per 10 grams and yesterday it was Rs 79410.

According to Live Mint, the spot price of silver in Delhi today is Rs 94500 per kg. Yesterday it was Rs 95700. Whereas, in Jaipur today silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 94900 per kg. Yesterday it was 96100.0 kg. Today the rate of silver in Lucknow is Rs 95400 per kg. Yesterday it was Rs 96600. Today silver is being sold at the rate of Rs 94600 per kg in Patna. Yesterday it was Rs 95800 per kg.
