Gold rate close to Rs 56,000

After reaching a record level of Rs 58,500, gold is currently running close to Rs 56,000. Similarly, after climbing up to Rs 71,000, silver has also come down to around Rs 64,000. Amidst the recession in the world market, both gold and silver are seeing a decline. On Friday, the last trading day of the week, there was a slight rise in gold and silver.

Gold and silver rise on MCX

Gold and silver rates saw a rise on the Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) on Friday. Gold, which crossed Rs 58,000 in the last days, is trending at Rs 55,825 on Friday, rising by Rs 86.

Similarly, silver had also crossed 71,000 in the previous days. But on Friday it is trending at Rs 64510 with a gain of Rs 476. On Thursday, gold closed at Rs 55739 and silver at Rs 64034 per kg.

There was a boom in the bullion market as well

In the bullion market on Friday, a rise was seen in the rates of both gold and silver. However, the rise in gold compared to silver was marginal. According to the price released by the India Bullions Association (https://ibjarates.com), 24 carat gold rose by Rs 4 to Rs 56091 per 10 grams. At the same time, a rise of more than Rs 300 was seen in silver and it reached Rs 64043 per kg.

At present, after the fall, the price of gold has reached below the level of August 2020. Two and a half years ago, gold made a record of Rs 56,200. Earlier on Thursday, gold had closed at Rs 56087 per 10 grams and silver at Rs 63706 per kg.
