Gold Price Today: Gold again above ₹ 72,000, silver becomes costlier by ₹ 1500, check latest rates

Gold Price Today: After the sluggishness of last week, metals have started climbing up again this week. In view of the rise in the international market, gold was trading at Rs 71,900 per 10 grams in the Indian futures market today with a gain of Rs 168.

In view of the rise in the international market, gold was recorded at Rs 71,900 per 10 grams in the Indian futures market this morning with a gain of Rs 168. But then gold rose by Rs 400 to reach Rs 72,121. On Wednesday it closed at 71,732. Silver has once again crossed 90,000. This morning it was recorded at Rs 90,593 per 10 kg with a gain of Rs 1118. However, after 11 am it rose by about Rs 1500 and was trading at 90,964. Yesterday it closed at Rs 89,475.

How is the business in the international market?

Gold prices are stable as hopes of interest rate cuts have strengthened after weak retail sales data in the US. Spot gold was up 0.1% at $2,331 an ounce. At the same time, US gold futures fell 0.1 percent to $2,345. Spot silver fell 0.1 percent and was recorded at $29.49.

Prices had jumped in the bullion market

In line with the strong trend in international markets, gold strengthened by Rs 80 to Rs 72,430 per 10 grams in the bullion market of the national capital on Wednesday. On Tuesday, gold closed at Rs 72,350 per 10 grams. The price of silver also rose by Rs 100 to Rs 91,400 per kg. In the last trading session, it closed at Rs 91,300 per kg. Gold saw a slightly positive trend on Wednesday after weaker than expected retail sales data in the US, which led to a rise in bullion prices.
