Gold closed at this price in the bullion market on Friday

On Friday, in the local bullion market, gold returned to its upward trend after falling for the last three sessions amid strength in foreign markets and it strengthened by Rs 50 to Rs 70,700 per 10 gram. In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 70,650 per 10 gram. The All India Sarafa Association said that on Friday, the price of gold of 99.9 percent and 99.5 percent purity rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 70,700 and Rs 70,350 per ten grams, respectively. The price of silver also rose by Rs 400 to Rs 84,400 per kilogram.
