New Delhi: Gold and silver futures prices fell on Friday. On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) at 10:21 am in February 2021, the price of delivery gold was down by Rs 114, or 0.23 per cent, to trend at Rs 50,276 per 10 grams. In the previous session, the gold price of the February contract was at Rs 50,390 per 10 grams. At the same time, the price of delivery gold in April was trending at Rs 50,339 per 10 gram, falling by Rs 115, ie 0.23 per cent. On Thursday, the price of gold for April contract was Rs 50,454 per 10 grams.
Silver price in futures market
On the Multi Commodity Exchange at 10:22 am in March 2021, the price of silver delivered was declining by Rs 436, or 0.64 per cent, to Rs 67,831 per kg. In the previous session, the price of silver for March contract was Rs 68,267 per kg. Similarly, in May 2021, delivery silver was trading at Rs 68,637 per kg, with a decrease of Rs 522 or 0.75 per cent. In the previous session, the price of May contract silver was at Rs 69,159 per kg.
Gold Price in Global Market
According to Bloomberg, gold on February contract was trading at $ 1,889.60 an ounce, a fall of $ 0.80, or 0.04 percent, on Comex. On the other hand, in the spot market, gold was trading at $ 1,885.12 an ounce, with a decrease of $ 0.30, or 0.02 percent.
