First let us tell you the price- According to IBJA, there has been a decline in the price of silver. The price of one kg silver saw a decline of Rs 500 on 15 August 2024. The price of silver has fallen to Rs 88,000 per kg. Whereas, just a day before, i.e. on Wednesday, silver was being sold at Rs 88,500 per kg.
Talking about the price of gold, the price of 22 carat gold was Rs 67,350 per ten grams on Wednesday evening. Which came down to Rs 67,250 per ten grams on the morning of 15 August, that is, the price has seen a drop of Rs 100. A day earlier, the price of 24 carat gold was Rs 70,720 per ten grams. Whereas, on Thursday the price was fixed at Rs 70,610. That is, the price has seen a drop of Rs 110.
Now let us tell you about the news that has come from the foreign market. IG market strategists say that there is little possibility of reduction in interest rates in the US in the coming days. Therefore, there is no possibility of a huge increase in gold prices.
