Gold Price Today in India: On May 13, gold prices in India remained above Rs 60,000 in many cities. At around 10 am, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold was Rs 61,800 and yesterday it closed at Rs 61,690. The price of 22 carat gold was Rs 56,650 and yesterday it was Rs 56,550.



Gold Price Today in India: On May 13, gold prices in India remained above Rs 60,000 in many cities. At around 10 am, the price of 10 grams of 24 carat gold was Rs 61,800 and yesterday it closed at Rs 61,690. The price of 22 carat gold was Rs 56,650 and yesterday it was Rs 56,550. On the other hand, the price of silver was Rs 74,800 and yesterday the price was Rs 75,000 per kg.

Talking about retail prices in different cities, 22 carat gold in Chennai was Rs 57,150 per 10 grams. Similarly, in the capital city of Tamil Nadu, 24K gold retailed at Rs.62,350 per 10 grams. On the other hand, the retail price of gold in the western city of Ahmedabad is Rs 56,700 (22 carat). The retail price of 24K gold in the city is Rs 61,850 per 10 grams.

On May 12, on June 05, 2023, gold futures were trading at Rs 60,898 on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Whereas silver maturing on July 5 was at Rs 73,100. Gold prices in India are generally influenced by factors such as global economic conditions, inflation rates, currency fluctuations and local demand and supply. Imports of the yellow metal in 2021-22 stood at USD 46.2 billion.
