Gold Rate On 18 June: Gold, silver spot prices recorded rise, know what has happened

New Delhi On Thursday, the domestic spot prices of gold were recorded. In the national capital, on Thursday, the price of gold has increased by Rs 280 per 10 grams. The price of gold has increased to Rs 48,305 per 10 grams. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices rose in the domestic bullion market on Thursday due to a surge in prices in the international market. Significantly, on Wednesday, gold had closed at Rs 48,025 per 10 grams.



Along with gold, domestic spot prices of silver have also increased on Thursday. Silver has gained Rs 260 per kg on Thursday. With this rise, the price of silver has gone up to Rs 49,452 per kg. Significantly, silver had closed at Rs 49,192 per kg in the previous session.

Talking about the international market, on Thursday, gold was trending at $ 1,728 an ounce and silver at $ 17.59 an ounce.



At the same time, gold and silver futures prices fell on Thursday evening in the domestic futures market. The futures price of five August 2020 gold on MCX was down by 0.24 per cent, or Rs 114, on Thursday evening at Rs 47,224 per 10 grams. Talking about silver, at this time the futures price of silver on July 3, 2020 was down by 0.79 per cent or Rs 383 to trade at Rs 48,053 per kg.
