Gold-Silver Price: Silver’s shine increased, became costlier by Rs 500 in one go; Check today’s latest price

Gold-Silver Price: In the commodity market, metals showed mixed trading on Monday (23 December). Gold was seen trading absolutely flat, however, there was a tremendous rise in silver. Silver was trading at a jump of more than Rs 500.

Gold-Silver Price: In the commodity market, metals showed mixed trading on Monday (23 December). Gold was seen trading absolutely flat, however, there was a tremendous rise in silver. Silver was trading at a jump of more than Rs 500. In the futures market, gold was trading at a price of Rs 76,421 per 10 grams. There was almost no change in it. During this period, silver was seeing a jump of Rs 511 per kg and was trading at a price of Rs 88,903 per kg. It closed at Rs 88,392 in the last trading session.

On Friday, gold rose by 30 dollars to reach near 2640 dollars and silver rose by 2 percent to above 30 dollars. At the same time, in the domestic futures market, gold rose by 700 rupees to above 76,400 and silver jumped by 1200 to close above 88,400.

What are the prices of gold and silver in the bullion market?

Gold prices fell for the third consecutive day on Friday in the bullion market of the national capital amid selling by jewelers and stockists and it fell by Rs 170 to Rs 78,130 per 10 grams. The price of 99.9 percent pure gold was at Rs 78,300 per 10 grams on Thursday.

Silver prices fell by Rs 1,850 to Rs 88,150 per kg due to weak demand from industrial units and coin makers. In the previous session, silver closed at Rs 90,000 per kg. At the same time, the price of 99.5 percent pure gold fell by Rs 170 to Rs 77,730 per 10 grams, while the previous closing price was Rs 77,900 per 10 grams. Traders attributed the fall in gold prices to weak demand from local jewelers.
