Now in this sequence, the Odisha State Government has increased the DA and DR of the employees by 3 percent, after which about 7.5 lakh employees of Odisha will also get 31% DA (dearness allowance) and DR like the central employees. Will get benefit. It is expected that in February 2022, the benefit of dearness allowance and arrears will be available and there will be a bumper jump in the salary.

Not only this, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also decided to give 30 percent arrears to the employees. Under this, employees will get 50 percent arrears of the increased salary between January 2016 and August 2017. This increase will also be applicable from July 1, 2021. Since 50 per cent of his enhanced salary for the period January 2016 to August 2017 has already been received. This decision will benefit 6 lakh employees of the state.
