In the festive season, the process of getting bonus and dearness allowance to the employees is going on. Now there is great news for the employees of Bokaro Steel Plant. These employees will be given a bonus of 21 thousand before Diwali. About 59 thousand employees will get benefit from this decision. It is believed that by the end of October, the amount will be transferred to the account of the employees.
According to media reports, an agreement has been reached between the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) and the trade unions regarding the bonus amount, under which this time the employees will be given Rs 21000 as bonus. The same trainee employees will be paid Rs 19 thousand. About 59 thousand employees of SAIL will get the benefit of this bonus. Bokaro Steel Plant has more than 9 thousand employees. There was a wave of happiness among the employees as soon as the information about the agreement on bonus was received.
The special thing is that last year SAIL employees were given Rs.16,500 as bonus, but this time Rs.21 thousand is being paid with an increase of 4500. This amount will be transferred to the employees’ account at the end of October. Earlier, SAIL has increased the dearness allowance of employees by 3.5 percent and DA of officers by 5.6 percent.
According to media reports, Steel Authority of India Limited SAIL has increased the dearness allowance of employees by 3.5 percent and DA of officers by 5.6 percent. After this, the dearness allowance of the employees has increased from 76.6 percent to 78.1 percent now. The DA of the same officers has come down to 176.2 percent instead of 170.5.
Under this, in the non-executive cadre, S-1 grade will get a benefit of Rs 630 and S-11 grade will get a benefit of Rs 2100 per month. Similarly, in the officer cadre, E-1 grade will get a benefit of Rs 1,624 and E-8 grade will get a benefit of Rs 5,040. Plant workers will get the information and benefits of increased salary in the salary slip in the month of November.
