New Delhi. There is good news for the travelers traveling from Vistara. Airlines will no longer charge for rescheduling flights till March 31. Vistara says that due to Kovid-19, passengers are facing a lot of problems. Due to government restrictions, they have to make changes in their travel. In view of this, the airlines have decided not to charge the change fee.
This facility will be available to those passengers who make direct booking in detail. This means that passengers booking flights through agent websites like MakeMyTrip, Yatra and Cleartrip will not be able to avail this facility. This facility will be available only once. Vistara is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines.
Slowly increasing demand
Vistara says that due to the increasing cases of Kovid-19 in the last few months, the state governments have imposed many restrictions. This has had a bad effect on air traffic. But, now again the demand for air travel is increasing. There has been a slight increase in February in comparison to January. Significantly, Vistara has rescheduled many of its February flights in the last few days.
According to a report in Live Mint, passengers are facing a lot of difficulties due to Vistara’s flight rescheduling. Many passengers have written on social media that they are facing difficulty in contacting Vistara Customer Care. In view of this, now the spokesperson of Vistara has said that the customers are being helped to resolve the issues like rescheduling and refund.
