AICPI index rises
The figures of the AICPI index are once again seeing tremendous growth. This time also the government can increase the dearness allowance by up to 4 percent. Looking at the conditions at this time, it is being speculated that in January also, the government is going to increase the DA bumper.
DA will be 42 percent
Let us tell you that from January 2023, employees will get the benefit of increased allowance, but the government can announce it till March 2023. If the DA of employees is increased by 4 percent, then your dearness allowance will increase to 42 percent.
Whose salary will increase by how much?
Talking about the minimum basic salary, it will increase by Rs 720 per month. Apart from this, if we talk about the maximum basic salary, then the salary of these employees will be Rs 2276 per month per month.
Labor Ministry released figures
The Labor Ministry has released the figures of AICPI. In September, this figure has been at 131.2. The AICPI index has gained a total of 2.1 per cent till September 2022 as compared to June. In comparison to August last month, there has been a jump of 1.1 percent.

>> New Dearness Allowance (42%) – Rs.7560 per month
>> Till now Dearness Allowance (38 percent) – Rs 6840 per month
>> How much dearness allowance increased – 7560-6840 – Rs 720 per month
>> Increase in annual salary- 720X12 = Rs 8640
Calculation at the level of maximum salary-
>> Basic salary of the employee – Rs 56900
>> New Dearness Allowance (42%) – Rs 23898 per month
>> Till now dearness allowance (38 percent) – Rs 21622 per month
>> How much dearness allowance increased – 23898-21622 – Rs 2276 per month
>> Increase in annual salary – 2276X12 – Rs 27312
