New Delhi : The Central Government has cleared the way for increasing the dearness allowance of the employees. Actually, the data of AICPI index has been released. There will be an increase in DA at the rate of 5% in the month of August.
The May data of the AICPI Index has been released. At present, 34% dearness allowance is being paid to central employees. But now the increase of 5% in the new dearness allowance is considered fixed. The figure for the AICPI index in May is at 129. However, earlier in April this figure was at 127.7.
5 percent increase in DA confirmed
According to media reports, there is a possibility of increasing dearness allowance by 5% so far. However, a jump of 6 percent can also be seen in DA right now. The number of the AICPI index has now reached 129 points. June numbers are yet to come. According to experts, the index reaching 129% means that it will continue to rise by 5%. But there can also be an increase of 6% in dearness allowance. If the figure crosses 130, then this bounce can be seen.
Let us tell you that if the AICPI index figure reaches 130, then there can definitely be a jump of 6% in dearness allowance. That is, in total, dearness allowance at the rate of 40 percent will be given to the central employees.
