PM Kisan Yojana 19th Installment: There is good news for crores of farmers waiting for the 19th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. The 19th installment of PM Kisan can be released this month. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the funds during his Bihar visit on February 24. In fact, recently Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the 19th installment of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana will be given to the beneficiaries by the end of February 2025.

E-KYC is necessary

To avail the benefits under the PM-Kisan scheme, farmers have to complete the e-KYC process. Which ensures that the financial assistance reaches the beneficiaries directly in their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts, thereby preventing fraud. Earlier, PM Modi had distributed the 18th installment of the scheme on October 15, 2024. The PM-Kisan scheme pays Rs 6000 annually in three equal installments of Rs 2000 every four months.

E-KYC option for farmers-

  • Farmers can complete their e-KYC using three methods.
  • OTP-based e-KYC – Available on PM-KISAN portal and mobile app.
  • Biometric-based e-KYC can be done at Common Service Centres (CSCs) and State Service Centres (SSKs).
  • Face authentication-based e-KYC – accessible through PM-Kisan mobile app.

How to register for PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana-

  • Register online through the official PM-Kisan portal.
  • Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) for assistance.
  • Contact the nodal officers nominated by the State Government.
  • Contact local Patwaris or Revenue officials for help.
