After this, the DA of railway employees has been increased from 196% DA to 203 percent. Along with this, the employees will also get 10 months fat arrears.
6th Pay Commission. There is great news for the railway employees. After getting approval from the Central Government, the Railway Department has simultaneously announced 14 percent Dearness Allowance hike. This increase has come into effect from 1 July 2021 and 1 January 2022. Along with this, 10 months arrears will also be given to the employees.
According to media reports, after the 7th Pay Commission, now the dearness allowance of the employees of the 6th Pay Commission has been announced. Under this, there has been a 7% DA increase from 1 July 2021 to December 2021 and again 7 percent from 1 January 2022. After this, the DA of railway employees has been increased from 196% to 203 percent. Along with this, the employees will also get 10 months fat arrears. Railway Board has also issued an order in this regard.
According to media reports, under this order, the Railway Board has increased the dearness allowance of its employees twice. The Railway Board has implemented this decision after taking approval from the Finance Directorate and the Ministry of Railways. Under this, the dearness allowance of the employees who are working under the Sixth Pay Commission has been increased from 1 July 2021 and 1 January 2022. 7 percent in the dearness allowance of the employees who are taking salary under the Sixth Pay Commission from 1 July 2021. That is, now it has increased from 189 percent to 196 percent.
According to media reports, along with this, the Railway Board has again increased the dearness allowance by 7 percent from January 1, 2022. With this it has increased from 196 percent to 203 percent. That is, an order has been issued to increase the DA of employees by 14 percent from July 1, 2021 to January 2021. Arrears will also be paid for this.
Order issued after the consent of the Center
According to media reports, instructions have been given to refer to the letter of even number dated 07.09.2021 in the order. In which the rates of dearness allowance have been revised. Under these orders, the provisions contained in paras 3, 4 and 5 of this Ministry’s letter of even number dated 09.09.2008 (No. PC-VI/3, RBE No. 106/2008) shall remain in force while regulating Dearness Allowance. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
