It is expected that the fitment factor of central employees can be decided before the budget to be presented on February 1, 2022. After this, the minimum salary of the employees will also increase.
May be included in the budget draft
The fitment factor of central employees can get approval from the Union Cabinet. After the approval of the cabinet before the budget, it can be included in the expenditure of the budget. But if it gets the approval of the cabinet, then there is no special need to include it in the budget (Budget 2022) draft.
How much will the salary increase
If the fitment factor (Central government employee fitment factor) is approved, then there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. In fact, increasing the fitment factor will also increase the minimum wage. At present, employees are getting salary under fitment factor on the basis of 2.57 percent fitment factor. Now it is being considered to increase it to 3.68 percent. If this happens, then the minimum salary of the employees will be increased by 8 thousand rupees. That is, the salary received till now will increase to Rs 26000 by Rs 18000.
