This has been announced by DGPC Jammu Vice-Chairman, Balwinder Singh. Speaker Ranjit Singh said that the contesting candidates had made some promises during the elections. Which includes increase in salary of all employees of DGPC Jammu, insurance cover to all employees. Apart from this, there was talk of bringing transparency in the revenue and expenditure of his family members, Gurudwara and others. On which a big decision has now been taken.

DGPC also decided to increase DA by 7.5% from 1st July every year. The DGPC also decided that all employees would be covered under the Central Government Insurance Policy (ESIC) along with an increase of 7.5 per cent DA from July 1 every year. At the same time, every effort is being made to provide them social security as per the availability of the budget. Thousands of employees will get the benefit of this.
