Recently, the Union Minister of State for Personnel and Public Grievances, Dr. Jitendra Singh had also indicated this and said that the government has made preparations to promote many officers, promotion will be announced in the next 2 to 3 weeks, In such a situation, it is believed that the promotion can be announced anytime after August 15.
The Modi government at the Center had given massive promotions to more than 8,000 government employees on July 1, 2022 and now once again the Department of Personnel and Training is preparing to give promotions to government officers in August. PIB has also said in a tweet that the Union Minister told the delegation that the government is serious about the promotion and Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken personal interest in the matter.
In fact, in July, the Union Minister of State for Science and Technology and Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Earth Sciences, Prime Minister’s Office, Personnel, Public Grievances, Pensions, Atomic Energy and Space, Dr. Jitendra Singh had invited the officers of the Central Secretariat Official Language Service Group-A. On this occasion, he had said that the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), after giving massive promotions to over 8,000 government employees in one go, is now ready for the next officers to be appointed for the next two years. He will get his promotion in three weeks.
The Union Minister had assured the delegation that their promotion matters would also be expedited as per rules, as there is a mandatory provision of one year to 18 months training for the officers before this promotion. He told the delegation that they would consider their demands sympathetically and the impediments in granting promotions would be removed. Dr. Jitendra Singh said that from now on all future promotions will be streamlined as all legal hurdles in giving promotions to 8,089 such employees have been resolved out of which 4,734 are from CSS, 2,966 from CSSS and 389 from CSCS. It is worth noting that It is to be noted that recently, with effect from July 1, 2022, DoPT had given massive promotions to more than 8,089 government employees belonging to three major secretariat services in one go.
Let us inform that the orders for mass promotion of these employees belonging to Central Secretariat Service (CSS), Central Secretariat Stenographer Service (CSSS) and Central Secretariat Clerical Service (CSCS) were held in the last two months under the chairmanship of Dr. Jitendra Singh. were issued after level meetings.
