A top company official said that these recruitments are necessary to meet the growth needs and to reduce the impact of attrition by the employees.
Comviva primarily provides IT solutions for mobile device based apps and technologies. Manoranjan Mohapatra, Chief Executive Officer, Comviva said that now the company’s focus is on Tier 2 city and in this sequence the Bhubaneswar center is being expanded. This center was opened three years ago under the new strategy of the company.
About 2 thousand members in Comviva’s team
Mohapatra said, “We have about 2,000 members in our team. We will recruit around 600 people annually. Of these, about 300 will be recruited directly from universities while the rest 200 or 300 will be experienced.
Attrition rate has become 20-23 percent
In the last few quarters, the attrition rate has increased in the company to about 20-23 percent, which was 15-16 percent in the past. Mohapatra said that the company plans to recruit around 600 people by July 2022 and recruitment will continue even after that to augment the human resource at the Bhubaneswar center.
The company expects 10-12 percent growth in the current financial year
On revenue growth, he said the company expects 10-12 per cent growth in the current financial year. In the financial year 2020-21, the revenue of Comviva was 845.1 crore.
