Get life certificate submitted through video call like this
- Visit the Pension Seva website https://www.pensionseva.sbi/.
- Select ‘Video LC’ from the drop down to start the VLC process.
- Now enter your SBI Pension Account Number.
- Now an OTP will come on the mobile number registered with the pensioner’s bank. Submit it by entering it in the specified space.
- Read and accept the terms and conditions and click on ‘Start Journey’.
- Now you will be asked to keep the original PAN card ready. That is, during the video call, you will need a PAN card. Now click on ‘IM Ready’.
- Give permission to initiate a video call. This includes permissions related to the camera, microphone and location.
- After this, as soon as an SBI officer is available, the pensioner’s video call will start. If the pensioner wants, he can also schedule the video call for a specific time as per his convenience.
- After joining the SBI officer on the video call, a verification code will appear on the mobile screen of the pensioner. You have to tell this to the officer.
- After this, the pensioner will have to show his PAN card on video call, which will be captured by the officer.
- The bank officer will also take the picture of the pensioner.
- In this way the video life certificate process of pension will be completed.
Last date for submission of certificate
Talking about the bank or other government offices, the deposition of life certificate of pensioners has started from October 1, 2021. Pensioners who are 80 years or more between the deadline of 1 October 2021 to 30 November 2021 can submit the life certificate.
