Indian Railways: Indian Railways is all set to run 200 more trains during the festive season for the convenience of passengers.

New Delhi: The festive season is between October 15 and November 30 among the 200 special trains of the Indian Railways (run Indian Railway is planning to). For this reason no one will have the difficulty of not having a train at this time. This was announced by Railway Board Chairman and CEO VK Yadav .

Railways have canceled all regular passenger trains indefinitely. These trains were canceled from March 22. Meanwhile, 15 special Rajdhani trains ( Rajadhani ) from Delhi to various parts of the country started operations from May 12. From June 1, 100 long-distance train services began. The railways will run 80 additional trains from September 12.



We have met with the general managers in the region and they should approach the local government to review the status of the corona virus outbreak, ” Yadav said. He said the decision on how many special trains to run during the festive season would be based on the report received from them. We currently estimate that there will be around 200 trains, but this is our estimate and the number will increase as needed, ”he said.
