Good news for women who want to do business. The government is giving loans in the name of ‘employee’ to encourage women entrepreneurs. This will make it easier for women to start their own business. Let’s go into the full details of this ..
Through this scheme, women can start businesses by taking low interest loans of up to Rs 3,00,000. The loans are being provided by the Women Development Corporation in association with financial institutions. Women can avail interest free loans up to Rs 3,00,000 through the employee scheme.
Not only lending but also training in merchants’ management and pricing. The ’employee’ should apply by contacting the lending financial institution through the scheme. Regional Rural Banks, Commercial Banks and Co-operative Banks provide these loans.
It is a scheme launched with the aim of ensuring that even poor women do not face financial barriers to doing business. If this is the case, the government will also provide a 30 per cent subsidy through this scheme. Women can apply for loans through any ‘employee’ scheme.
People between the ages of 25 and 55 can apply for these loans. Their family annual income should be less than Rs.1,50,000. Those with an annual income of more than that will not have this loan. The annual income limit does not apply to the same widow and disabled women.
The loans are given to 88 types of businesses such as incense making, bakery, glass making, beauty parlor, canteen, catering, cleaning powder, coffee and tea powder manufacturing.
