YouTube TV and YouTube Kids will also make way to the Fire TV devices later this year.
In a world where tech giants are constantly locking horns to lead the wagon, coming into terms with one another is not easy. Today, however, two veterans of the tech industry decided to end their rivalry for making video-streaming experience better. Google and Amazon, today, put an end to their long-standing detente over video-streaming services by bringing YouTube support on Fire TV and allowing Prime Video on Chromecast and Android TV.
Amazon’s second-gen Fire TV stick, Fire TV Cube, Fire TV Stick Basic Edition, Fire TV Stick 4K, Fire TV Edition smart TVs joined hands with OEMs and will now get support from the official YouTube app, starting today. The company also aims at extending support to other devices soon. YouTube TV and YouTube Kids will also make way to the Fire TV devices later this year.

Earlier this year, the companies engaged in a spat as a result of Amazon’s decision to implement YouTube on Echo Show. Later, in May, the companies declared that they will reach an agreement to put the clash to an end for their of their customers.
Some users took to Twitter to express their excitement seeing the update. Some expressed happiness through words, others shared screenshots from Play Store.
