The news is that the Yogi Adityanath government has issued an order regarding bringing dearness allowance for the state’s public sector undertakings and corporation employees. On Thursday, orders have also been issued regarding this, let us tell you, the employees of the state were demanding dearness allowance for a very long time.
Know what percentage you will get DA
Now if we understand the mathematics of getting this benefit, then according to its calculation, the officers and employees who have got the revised pay matrix from January 1, 2016. He will get 28% DA of his basic salary from 1st July 2021. With this, they will get DA of 17% of the basic salary in the period from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021. For the officer employees whose pay scale has not been revised after January 1, 2016, the provision has been made that 189% DA of basic salary will be payable to them from July 1, 2021. Apart from this, the rate of dearness allowance for the period from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021 will be 164% of the basic salary.
Along with this, the Yogi government has also added that this benefit of DA will be applicable only for those enterprises whose internal capacity is such that they can bear the additional cost. Even before this, it was said by the Uttar Pradesh government to give the benefit of DA to the employees, but in some documents it was mentioned that this order of the benefit of DA will not be available to the employees working in PSU and corporation. Now the state government, going ahead in this, has also issued an order to give a huge rate of 28% to the employees of PSUs and corporations in dearness allowance.
