From July 1, these employees and officers will be given dearness allowance at the rate of 28 percent instead of 17 percent. This decision of Nitish Kumar will benefit 4.5 lakh employees. For your information, let us tell you that in the past, the Central Government had also increased its dearness allowance.

This decision of Nitish Kumar will increase the additional burden of 2.5 thousand crores on the state exchequer. Earlier, the DA of state employees in Bihar was increased in October 2019. At that time there was an increase of 5 percent. After which dearness allowance was increased from 12 per cent to 17 per cent.

Gifts for students as well: Apart from state government employees, officers and pensioners, Nitish Kumar also announced gifts for students on Independence Day. Nitish Kumar said that three colleges would be established under Bihar Agriculture University, Sabour. Under this, Agribusiness Management College will be opened in Patna, Agriculture Biotechnology College at Sabour and a new Agricultural Engineering College at Bhojpur.

For women: Keeping in mind the women, Nitish Kumar announced that the whole of Bihar will be covered by milk cooperatives in the next four years. Of all the new committees formed, 40 percent will be women milk societies. Apart from this, centers of Sudha Dairy will also be built in rural areas besides cities.

For the preparing candidates: The Bihar government has also announced the scheme for the students who are preparing for the competitive examinations. Under the Civil Services Promotion Scheme, 50 thousand rupees for the preparation of Mains and one lakh rupees for the preparation of the main examination of UPSC on passing the preliminary examination of Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) to the youth of SC-ST and OBC category. is encouraged.



In order to increase the participation of women in administrative services, on the lines of this scheme, now the Civil Services Promotion Scheme will be started for girls of all other categories as well.
