The benefit of this scheme is given to those workers whose monthly income does not exceed Rs 15,000.
Under this scheme, after the age of 60, every month a pension of Rs 3000 i.e. Rs 36,000 per annum will be available. Those who are members of EPFO, NPS or ESIC, they cannot take advantage of this scheme. For this, even if someone pays income tax, he is not eligible for this scheme.

According to the scheme, if a person is 18 years old, then he will have to deposit 55 rupees every month till the age of 60 years in the Pradhan Mantri Shramyogi Maandhan Yojana. If someone is 29 years old, then he will have to deposit 100 rupees every month till the age of 60 years to get pension in the scheme. If an employee joins this scheme at the age of 40, then he will have to make a contribution of Rs 200 every month.
