According to the information, the Yogi government of UP is working on a big scheme. Under this, the Uttar Pradesh government will provide houses to lakhs of employees and advocates of Group C and D for just Re 1. This facility will be provided as subsidy to the employees and lawyers. Buyers will be given a discount on the condition that they will not be able to sell it for 10 years.
It is reported that the eligibility criteria for this will be decided later, while the concerned department will be the nodal for giving houses to the eligible people. Advocate and Personnel Justice Department has been made nodal for Group C and D personnel. The same Housing and Urban Planning Department will make available Nazul’s land on lease to the nodal departments, Revenue Department and other government land as per the rules of the concerned department. will be made available on Subsidy will be given to the beneficiaries on the houses built under this scheme.
According to sources, its draft has also been prepared in the meeting of high officials. After getting approval from the higher level, this proposal will be placed in the cabinet meeting 2021. After getting the green signal from here, the benefits of the scheme will start. As of now, there is no arrangement for giving houses on discount to the employees of Group C and D. This will be the first time that the government is making such arrangements.
