If you are going to travel by the economical airline SpiceJet, then there is an important news for you. Now you will be able to book a taxi very easily to and from the airport.

Facility will start in Delhi from August 12

The new service will be available for passengers arriving at Delhi airport in the first phase from August 12. After this, the airline will expand this service in a phased manner to all major airports including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Goa, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Pune. Passengers will get booking OTP digitally

The airline said that this first-of-its-kind initiative in the domestic aviation industry will help passengers avoid waiting for their transportation after arrival in the taxi transfer area. Once the passenger has booked the taxi on SpiceScreen, they will receive the taxi booking OTP message on their mobile phone upon arrival at the airport through SMS, WhatsApp and automatic inbound call confirmation. Passengers will get the facility of cash or online payment

Above all, Spyscreen will also provide customers with the facility to make payments through any payment option (online or cash) at the end of the journey. SpiceJet in August last year introduced SpiceScreen, a complimentary in-flight entertainment system that can be accessed from devices such as passengers’ smartphones, tablets or laptops by directly connecting to the onboard wireless network.

Fare discount on booking a taxi


The airline said that it will also offer a special discount on fares to passengers using this option to book taxis and will not charge any cancellation fee if the passenger does not board the taxi for any reason.
