The state government has made a big announcement for its 7th pay commission teaching and non-teaching employees. Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has approved an increase of 5 per cent in honorarium pension for retired teaching and non-teaching employees working in aided colleges across the state. This increase will be done every year from 1st November 2021 and this decision will bring relief to all retired teaching and non-teaching staff of aided colleges.

A government spokesperson said on Saturday that this had long been a demand of retired teaching and non-teaching staff of aided colleges. Presently retired Principal Rs. 30,000 per month, retired lecturer getting Rs 25,000 per month, non-teaching class-3 employees getting Rs.

At present, retired principal is getting 30 thousand rupees, retired lecturer 25 thousand rupees, non-teaching class-3 is getting 11 thousand rupees and non-teaching class-4 is getting 6 thousand monthly pension, all of them get 5 percent per annum in their pension. increase will apply. The employees will be given the benefit of notional pension. This increase will be on the basic pension every year. However, no arrears will be given to them.

He said that earlier pension was being given only to the employees who retired after May 11, 1998. On the demand of the employees who retired before 1998, the Chief Minister decided to give honorary pension to the teaching and non-teaching employees who retired from January 1, 1988 to May 10, 1998.
