New Delhi : Aadhaar Card: Now the work related to Aadhar card will be done more easily. The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) plans to open 166 single Aadhaar Enrollment and Update Centers in 122 cities across the country.
55 Aadhar Seva Kendras are operational At
present 55 out of 166 Aadhar Seva Kendras (ASKs) are operational. Apart from this, 52,000 Aadhaar Enrollment Centers are being operated by banks, post offices and state governments.

UIDAI gave this information by issuing an official statement. UIDAI plans to open 166 single Aadhaar enrollment and update centers in 122 cities, the statement said.
The needs of 70 lakh people were met. In
UIDAI’s tweet, it was told that Aadhaar Seva Kendras are opened seven days a week. So far, the needs of 70 lakh people, including persons with disabilities, have been met in 55 Aadhaar Seva Kendras. Model A’s Aadhaar Seva Kendra has the capacity to handle 1000 enrollments and update requests every day. The Model B center has a capacity of 500 and Model C center to handle 250 enrollment and updation requests per day. Let us inform that till now UIDAI has given Aadhaar number to 130.9 crore people.
Centers are open seven days
Let us tell you that Aadhaar Seva Kendras are opened seven days a week. All types of centers operate from 9 am to 5.30 pm. They are closed only on public holidays. It may be noted that Aadhaar is not available in Seva Kendra Pvt. Aadhaar services are available only in Banks, Post Offices, Common Service Centres, Offices of State Government Officers and Aadhaar Service Centers operated by UIDAI.
Let us inform that enrollment of Aadhaar is free, but for correction of date of birth or for getting PVC card, a charge of Rs 50 and for biometric updates Rs 100 is charged.
