NEW DELHI: Google Pay is now rolling out a new feature in India where users can add a bank account with an NFC (Near Field Communication) enabled credit or debit card.
This new development will enable Google to launch a tokenized payment card. Last year, Google for India said it would offer a secure online payment service on Google Pay using credit and debit cards. In the next few weeks, VISA will be using the card. However, the feature did not reach the users for a year.

According to an Android Police report, Google is now adding support for Pay Pay Credit and Debit Cards. Users need to enter the bank’s OTP to insert their card into the app, thereby verifying their card. Once registered, it is known to be easy to use.
The feature has been available to select users for the past month. This service will be available to all in the coming days.
