According to ESET report, this year 18 apps were identified as spylone on Google Play Store. These apps were meant to borrow money from people, but in reality they used them to spy on them. ESET researchers shared details of apps used by loan sharks to defraud users. Loan sharks are people who borrow money from people and then force them to return it with very high interest.
