Government announced
Actually, Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has announced to restore the old pension scheme for the officers and employees of the state during the presentation of the budget. Apart from this, the CM has announced to increase the annual assistance amount from Rs.6 thousand to Rs.7 from the coming year under Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Krishi Bhumiless Mazdoor Nyay Yojana to provide justice and financial security.
CM made many big announcements in this budget. Presenting the budget, the Chief Minister said that Gauthans would be developed as Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park. There is a budget provision of 600 crores to provide infrastructure and basic facilities in these industrial parks.
Central government can also announce
Along with this, the central government can also make many announcements to implement the old pension scheme soon. Central employees can soon get the benefit of Old Pension Scheme (OPS). Employees have put this demand in front of the government for a long time. The Central Government is now considering the demand of the employees. Actually, the Central Government is churning out the old pension scheme (OPS) of the employees. Government employees for whose recruitment advertisements were issued on or before December 31, 2003, will get this benefit. According to Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions and Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office, the decision on this issue will be taken after the response of the Law Ministry.
