Keeping in view the upcoming festivals like Diwali and Chhath, the state government has decided to pay the salary of this month to the government employees earlier. State Finance Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary said that in view of the upcoming festivals, government employees in Bihar will get this month’s salary earlier than normal. He told that the department has taken this decision after consulting Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Salary will be received before October 20
The Bihar government has asked its government employees to pay their salaries ahead of time this month in view of Diwali and Chhath festival. He said that the salary of the employees will start from October 20.

Diwali is falling on October 24
