Railways’ performance was excellent

This year the performance of the railways was excellent. In the financial year 2023-24, the railways carried a record 1588 million tonnes of goods and carried about 6.7 billion passengers. Last year also, the Railways had announced a bonus of 78 days, which was given to more than 11 lakh employees. This time under the bonus, an employee will get a maximum of ₹ 17,951.
