Central Government Holiday List 2024: New Year is coming soon. Before the beginning of every year, most of the government and private sector employees start counting the holidays. The government has released the list of holidays for the year 2024 for central employees.


Central Government Holiday List 2024: New Year is coming soon. Before the beginning of every year, most of the government and private sector employees start counting the holidays. The government has released the list of holidays for the year 2024 for central employees. This list has been prepared keeping in mind all the gadget holidays, celebrations, festivals and regional festivals. The list of holidays includes the list of gadgeted, optional and compulsory holidays.

According to the office memorandum dated July 3, 2023, there are 17 gazetted holidays for Central Government employees. Apart from this there are optional holidays. It has been said in the order that during the year 2024, the holidays given in the order will be celebrated in all the central government offices located in Delhi and New Delhi. Apart from this, every employee will also be allowed to choose any two holidays among the optional holidays.
