The government has come on the backfoot regarding the examination of final year students. Due to this, the Department of Higher Education and Technical Education has issued a letter and decided to conduct the examination as per the UGC guidelines. Now, the government’s decision not to take the exam will not be valid and the new decision will apply. Under this, all universities will have to conduct the final year examination by the end of September. For which students will now have to prepare again. In this regard, the principals of all colleges and the Vice Chancellor of the University had also asked for suggestions for conducting the examination.
Hearing in the Supreme Court today, the
UGC has instructed to conduct the examination of final year students by September 30. In protest, a petition has been filed in the Supreme Court on behalf of 31 students. Which is to be heard on August 14. At the same time, the state government has withdrawn its decision to promote the final year students without examination.
Will not give the examination under any circumstances: Beniwal
government has taken a big blow to all the students by withdrawing the decision to not promote the examination. It is not in anyone’s interest to take this decision without waiting for the Supreme Court’s decision by the government. The government should wait for the decision of the Supreme Court. Before this, it is too early for the government to take back its decision regarding the examination.
