Buying your dream home was never this easy! India’s first e-commerce housing portal, HousingForAll.com, will definitely prove a blessing for people searching for ready-to-move-in properties. This will give a boost to Narendra Modi government’s ‘housing for all’ and ‘Digital India’ initiatives. Real estate developer body National Real Estate Development Council’s (NAREDCO) portal was launched by Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Durga Shanker Mishra. At the launch of the portal he said it has the potential to become ‘Amazon of Indian real estate’, PTI reported.

Here is all you need to know about HousingForAll.com

1) Through this portal, lowest priced inventory will be made available by builders for home buyers to take full advantage of the best pricing.

2) You will be able to see the builder’s complete inventory, then book your home directly on HousingForAll.com.

3) Initially, for a month, the portal will be open only for real estate developers to register their projects (January 14 to February 13).

4) The portal will be opened for homebuyers from February 14.

5) After being opened for the homebuyers, for the initial 15 days buyers will be able to view offers and shortlist their homes.

6) From 1st March till 31st March 2020, buyers can start buying the house of their choice.

7) Buyers can directly reserve a unit from the portal with a refundable payment of only 25,000. They will also get money back guarantee where their initial deposit made on portal is completely secured and fully refundable in case buyer selects not to purchase the unit.

8) Customers will be immediately notified if any units they have shortlisted are already sold.

9) NAREDCO, formed under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, would list only completed RERA-registered housing projects on the platform.

10) CREDAI-MCHI, CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM, Builders Association of India (BAI), and Indian Merchant Chambers (IMC) are also partners in this initiative.
