And now with this, Sri Lankan Airlines has come up with a very special offer for Indian passengers. Sri Lankan Airlines has come up with ‘Buy one and get one free’ offer for Indian tourists, under which one ticket will be free with one ticket to go back to India from Colombo. It is not necessary for Indians to be quarantined

Indian citizens who have had both doses of the vaccine no longer need to be quarantined in Sri Lanka. But for this also some conditions have been laid. Airlines said that tourists coming from India to Sri Lanka should have taken the second dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before. After this, on going to Sri Lanka, he will also be compulsorily done RT-PCR test, which should come negative. If the test report of a tourist comes positive, then he will be taken to the hospital. Also, let us tell you that a person found negative will be able to roam anywhere in the country as per his wish.

Services will resume from 1st September


Indian citizens going to Sri Lanka will have to take special care of social distancing and sanitization there. Sri Lankan Airlines Head of Worldwide Sales and Distribution Dimuthu Tennakoon said that Sri Lanka is accrediting all vaccines administered in India, including Covaccine. He said that so far more than 12 crore people in India have received both doses of the vaccine and in such a situation they are planning to travel. Sri Lankan Airlines is resuming its services between India from September 1. There will be weekly flights from Colombo to Madurai, Tiruchirappalli, Trivandrum and Kochi. Flights will run from Colombo to Delhi and Hyderabad twice a week. Services between Chennai and Mumbai will be increased to 5 days a week and services between Bengaluru will be extended to 3 days per week.
