The government has increased the DA of the employees from 3 percent to 12 percent.
DA increased from 28 to 31%
According to the information, according to the order of Additional Chief Secretary S Radha Chauhan, the DA of the 5th Pay Commission employee has been increased from 356% to 368% with effect from July 1, 2021. At the same time, the DA of the employees of the Sixth Pay Commission is being increased from 189% to 196%. Apart from this, from July 1, 2021, DA will now be paid at the rate of 31 percent instead of 28 to the officers of All India Services posted in the state.
These employees will get benefit
1 January 2006 Officers-employees getting revised pay scale will get 189 percent DA of basic pay from 1st July 2021. These officers-employees are those who have not selected the revised pay matrix from January 1, 2016 or whose pay scale has not been revised from January 1, 2016 as per the decision taken on the recommendations of the first report of the Pay Committee. For the period from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, the rate of DA will be 164 per cent of the basic pay.
Arrears will be deposited in PF account
According to the order of Additional Chief Secretary S Radha Chauhan, 5 months arrears of DA will be deposited in the PF account. That is, the arrears from July 1 to December 1 will go to the PF account. After this the payment will be made in the salary of December. Not only this, the amount of arrears will be deposited in the PF account till December 31, 2022. According to the order, those who have retired before this mandate or are due in 6 months, they will get the amount of DA arrears in cash.
Ordered in the month of November
Significantly, in the month of November, the state government had issued an order to give DA to the employees at an increased rate of 28 percent. In this order, it was said that the officers and employees who got the revised pay matrix from January 1, 2016, will be given DA of 28 percent of the basic pay from July 1, 2021. Whereas in the period from January 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, the rate of dearness allowance will be 17 percent of the basic pay.
