7th Pay Commission: New year is bringing a lot of happiness for the Central Government Employees. According to media reports, there will be an increase in Dearness Allowance in January next year. Its direct benefit will be in the salary of the employees.



 

New Delhi. The Modi government can give good news to the central employees on the new year. The government had increased Dearness Allowance (DA) and TA along with Diwali bonus this month. Now once again there is talk of increasing one more allowance. There are speculations that central employees can get its benefit from the month of January.

There is going to be an increase in the house rent allowance

According to the information, the House Rent Allowance (HRA) available to the employees can be increased. Due to this, there will be a bumper increase in the salary of the employees. The Finance Ministry has started considering the demand for implementation of House Rent Allowance (HRA) of more than 11.56 lakh employees in this regard. The ministry has sent the proposal to the Railway Board.

After getting this proposal approved from there, employees will get HRA from January 2021. After this, there will be a lot of increase in the salary of the employees. Significantly, the Indian Railway Technical Supervisors Association (IRTSA) and the National Federation of Railwaymen (NFIR) have demanded the implementation of HRA from January 1, 2021.

City wise HRA is available

Let us tell you, House Rent Allowance (HRA) is available according to the city. Cities are divided into X, Y and Z categories. Employees who fall in category X will now get more than Rs 5400 per month HRA. At the same time, the person of Y class will get Rs 3600 per month and then the person of Z class will get HRA of Rs 1800 per month. Cities with a population of more than 50 lakhs come in the X category. Employees of these cities will get 27% HRA. Wherein Y category cities will have 18% and Z category will have 9 percent.
