In global markets, gold rates were flat today before the US Fed policy decision. Uncertainties arising out of China Evergrande’s debt crisis also supported gold at lower levels. Spot gold is at $ 1,775.63 an ounce.

According to the website, the yellow metal is selling at Rs 43,740 in Chennai. In Delhi, 10 grams of 24-carat gold is being sold for Rs 49,800 and in Mumbai for Rs 46,330. Gold is being sold in Chennai this morning at Rs 47,720. The price for Kolkata is Rs 48,250.
