The verdict was given on the petition filed in the High Court against the decision of the Varanasi District Judge to give the rights of worship to the Hindu side in the Vyasji tehkhana located in the Gyanvapi complex. The course has rejected the petition of the Muslim side.
The Allahabad High Court has rejected the appeal filed against the order of the District Judge Varanasi to hand over the right of worship in the basement of Gyanvapi, Varanasi to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple Trust.
Justice Rohit Ranjan Aggarwal of Allahabad High Court has given this decision on the appeal filed by Anjuman Arrangement Masjid Committee. Earlier, the court had reserved the decision after a long debate between both the parties.
In this case, District Judge Varanasi had appointed DM as receiver on January 17 and passed order to perform puja in the basement on January 31. The Interjamia Committee had challenged him before the High Court.

The Allahabad High Court has rejected the petition challenging the court’s decision to allow worship in the Vyas basement of the Gyanvapi complex. Hindu side’s lawyer Vishnu Shankar Jain told after the verdict that Allahabad High Court has rejected the first appeal against the orders of Anjuman Arrangements. In which the orders of 17th and 31st January passed by Varanasi District Court were challenged in Allahabad High Court. The court said in its order that the ongoing puja in the Vyas basement of the Gyanvapi complex will continue.
