H-1B Visa: Cannot stop H-1B visa, Trump gives big relief to Indians after giving shock on citizenship

Trump said he liked the arguments of both those who supported and opposed the H-1B visa for foreign immigrant workers. He said he liked the “highly skilled people” coming into the country.

US President Donald Trump has ordered the repeal of the law on the right to birthright citizenship immediately after assuming power. Along with this, he has also given executive orders to send back immigrants. While this has caused concern in the Indian-American community, he has given a big relief to professional Indians and such citizens of other countries on H-1B visa. Trump has said that he cannot stop H-1B visas because he is in dire need of professional workers. Let us tell you that a large number of Indian technical professionals are working in America on the basis of this visa.

Trump said that he liked the arguments of both the parties supporting and opposing the H-1B visa for foreign immigrant workers. He said that he likes the ‘highly skilled people’ coming to the country, who have reached America using this visa program. Trump also addressed a joint press conference with Oracle’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Larry Ellison, SoftBank’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Masayoshi Son and Open AI’s CEO Sam Altman at the White House (official office and residence of the President of America).

During this, he said, “I like the arguments of both sides (those supporting and opposing H1B visa), but I also want highly skilled and capable people to come to our country, even if they have to train and help people who do not have sufficient qualifications for such work. But I do not want to stop and I am not just talking about engineers, I am talking about people of every level.”

The President was asked about the ongoing debate among his supporters on the H-1B visa. While his close confidants like Tesla owner Elon Musk support the H-1B visa, many of his supporters oppose it, arguing that it takes away jobs from Americans. Musk argues that this visa program brings qualified technical professionals to America. (With language inputs)
