Haryana Weather Update: This year in Haryana, the monsoon registered its activity tremendously and also broke the records of many years. For the past few days, Haryana is receiving heavy rains due to monsoon. According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will remain active within the state for the next one week.
According to the Meteorological Department, a low pressure area was formed in the Bay of Bengal along with the formation of cyclonic circulation, due to the turf line coming in the south, the activity of Monsoon winds remains. Due to which there is a possibility of rain in many districts in the state of Haryana in the coming days. On September 16, there may be heavy rain in many areas of the state. Meteorologists say that within the state for the next one week, there is no possibility of the departure of monsoon.
Record breaking monsoon rains in Haryana
Monsoon has broken many records in Haryana so far this year. The state has had the best monsoon season in 11 years after 2010. According to the data of the India Meteorological Department, the state of Haryana has received 468.6 mm of rain from June 1 to September 10, which is 15 percent more than the normal rainfall (407.3 mm). Monsoon had knocked in the state on 13th June.
In the monsoon season that started from June 1 till September 13, 501.9 mm. Rain has been recorded, which is 22% more than normal. 113.3 mm so far in September also. It has rained, which is 124% more than normal. Barring six districts of the state namely Ambala, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, Bhiwani, Rohtak and Faridabad, all other districts of the state have recorded above normal rainfall.
